1st C time capsules

The students in 1st C have been working on their time capsules. The first ones to do so have been Mireia, Mar and Carla.

Mas brought her parents' first present, a teddy. She also showed us a candle and her Girl Scout official scarf. Both objects are very significant to Mar as she is a proud Girl Scout. This is the Girl Scout Law:

I will do my best to be
Honest and Fair,
Friendly and Helpful,
Considerate and Caring,
Courageous and Strong, and

Responsible for what I say and do,

And to
respect myself and others,
respect authority,
use resources wisely,
make the world a better place, and
be a sister to every Girl Scout

Mar ended her presentation showing us her favourite lip balm, Eos.

Mireia took a huge box full of objects. We know she wouldn't stop speaking, she loves telling us stories. She showed us a stethoscope, is she going to be a well known doctor? She explained us that she loves carnival and that she once won a costume competition. Later on we saw her grandafther's magnifying glass, it was so beautiful! Finally she showed us a wooden train she used to play with a long time ago and a necklace she got from Secret Santa, do you know who was her Secret Santa?

Carla has a bond that ties her to Reina Elisenda School, this is why she showed us her photo album from 6th primary. She pointed out a very special photo in this album where she is having lunch with her friend Anna C. She also talked about a summer camp she really enjoyed.

Pau talked about his former school and brought a t-shirt with the signatures of all the teachers and friends from there. Then, he showed us a couple of souvenirs, one from London and one from Viella. Finally, he explained he had been in England and that he bought a wooden tractor in Totnes.

Jan showed us a lot of pictures, one with his brother and his grandmother's dog and a photo album of when he took a Baltic cruise with all his family. Finally, he couldn't have forgotten one of his footballs as a symbol of his passion.

Chloé talked about two very important things in her life. First she passed around her photo album from Lys and later she showed us pictures of her holidays in Formentera. She used to have a great time there and she is looking forward to going back to the island.

Daniela's time capsule was plenty of objects. At first, she showed us lots of photos from her childhood with her parents, her uncle and all her nursery school classmates, and guess who was in the same nursery school! Then she passed around a really old music box, a bracelet she bought in Rome, a pendant she shares with her best friend Sílvia and her former school photo album filled with memories from Lys School. Finally, she explained why she has got a FCB t-shirt signed by Xavi Hernàndez.

Jordi explained us so many things about his childhood. He had his tonsils taken out when he was 10. He has got a she-dog called Pepa who sometimes wears a FCB t-shirt. He loves his bed, his ketchup bottle pencilcase and a tiny tennis racket his father once bought for him. Jordi also talked about his childhood crazes such as a collection of stickers and his goggos collection. Finally, he showed us his Peter Pan School photo album to talk about how important his former school has been to him.

Nico travelled to Costa Rica when he was only 8 months! It is a very important country for him as well as a photo album he and his cousin got at the age of three. As you can see Nico's childhood is very important to him, at the age of two he dressed up as a tin soldier and he had to play a music box in order to fall asleep when he was four. He also told us the story of his first teddy, do you know who designed it? Finally, he showed us a couple of objects, a photo of his 6th primary classmates and two tennis trophies.

Max has three very special objects a teddy called Dominique, a hard teeth pendant and his first book, Maldita Mansión. Then he showed us his former school, Lys, photo album. Last but no least he told us he is a very proud Boy Scout and he brought his shirt, neckerchief and two neckerchief slides (one of them made by himself) with him.
This is the Scout Law:
"A scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent."
